About the Destination
Hamta Pass:- Hamta Pass is a corridor in the Himalayas, between the Chandra Valley in Lahaul and the Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh, India. The pass is named after Hamta Village, below Sethan village.
Lower Himalayan shepherds use the pass in summer for its high altitude grasslands in the summer, when the desert of Lahaul is barren. Hampta Pass is perched at an elevation of 4,270m (14039ft) on the Pir Panjal range in the Himalayas. It is a small passage between the Lahaul Chandra Valley and Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh. Hampta Pass Trek is one of the best and convenient treks in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. Hampta Pass adventure trek will take you to the valley of wildflowers, alpine Meadows of conifer forest, rock walls, amazing waterfalls, snow-white glaciers, and a lot more.
