Kedarkantha Trek is Uttarakhand’s most loved winter summit — a beginner-friendly snow walk to 12,500 ft (3,810 m) in Govind Pashu Vihar National Park, Uttarkashi. Kareri Hikers runs a guided 5 days / 4 nights package from Dehradun: guesthouse at Sankri, camping at Juda Ka Talab and Kedarkantha base, then a pre-dawn climb for sunrise on the peak.
From the top you see Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Black Peak (Kala Nag) and the Tons valley. Trails stay short (4–6 km a day) through maple and pine forest, which is why this trek works well for first-timers and families with children 10+.
Best season: December–April for snow; April–June and September–November for clear meadows.
Cost: from ₹8,999 per person (sharing tents). 5% GST extra. Delhi pickup can be added on request.
Advance ₹3,000 per person to confirm your seat; balance collected 24 hours before departure.
