About the Destination

Snowline is located in Kangra valley. It is a popular trek because of its short duration and beginnerfriendly trek. The difficulty level of this trek is easy to moderate grade. Itinerary

01Day 01 Mcleodganj Snowline
  • Hike to Snowline. | Camping.
  • Wake up early morning and after having breakfast head for Snowline.
  • Take a pit stop at Triund on your way through Snowline and chill around for half an hour.
  • Reach Snowline (Laka) by noon and enjoy the beautiful views of Dhauladhar Ranges.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at camp site.
02Day 02: Triund-Mcleodganj Departure
  • Wake up in morning and after having breakfast head back to Mcleodganj.
  • Take a pit stop at Shiva Cafe on your way through Bhagsuang and chill around for half an hour.
  • Come back to your place. Refresh and restore your energy. Head back to home by evening with lots of amazing Memories.
03Think To Pack
  • Trekking shoes: You need good trekking shoes with good grip & ankle support. Do not carry sport shoes.
  • You clothing: You need to have warm clothes with three-layer Jackets, Fleece or down feather Jacket. carry 1 or 2 Sleeve T-shirt. For lowers carry cotton pants Suitable for trek.Do no carry jeans or shots for trekking. Thermals: Carry top and bottom thermals.
  • Socks: Carry 2-3 pair ofsports socks along with woolen socks to be worn at night.
  • Headlamp/ Led Torch are mandatory.
  • Sunglasses: To protect romsunlight in snow you require UV rays protected sunglasses.
  • Wollen cap and gloves are also necessary as the climate will be cold. Carry waterproof gloves asthey get wet in snow.
  • Water bottle: Every participant should carry water bottle oftheir own
  • Raincoat/ Ponchos: At high altitudes, snowfall and rain are quite common and its mandatory tocarry poncho so that one doesn’t get wet.
  • Mandatory Document: a) Registration Form b) Medical Certificate (Signed by a registered MBBS doctor) c) NOC Form By (trekker)
